Two Projects in a Day

After my first serious session on Bush League I was sure that it would take me a few weeks to finish. I seriously underestimated myself, something I am guilty of all too often. The problem took me four days, two days working beta and two days trying from the start, to complete.

On the very same day I finished Bush League I also climbed a problem called This is Your Brain on Drugs, given V9 in the book of Matthew. This problem is hilarious and I didn't really take it seriously the first few times I tried it. I ended up using a right shoe three and a half sizes too big for me (thanks Andrew!) in order to get to the top. The most points I've ever climbed in a day by far.

We received some news that a friend of ours is coming down for a month and so we might extend our trip, giving us time to invest in some more difficult problems. I would like to try Ultramega and Shroom. Both are beyond anything I've climbed before but I think they could help me get better at trying my hardest.

Tomorrow we are going to West for another adventurous day full of climbing, hiking and photos.
